Jordan Buckner is CEO and co-founder of TeaSquares, a line of superfood energy snacks sold in corporate break rooms, Whole Foods Market stores, and His personal mission is to create products that enhance people’s lives, while giving back and mentoring others to do the same. Forbes awarded Jordan a 30 Under 30 recipient in the food and beverage category in 2018, and he graduated from the Good Food Accelerator (GFA).

Jordan’s presentation at Friday’s Morning Mingle will focus largely on his company’s social mission — TeaSquares provides business-oriented internships to young people from underserved Chicago communities — and the role that accelerators have played in the company’s growth. The latter is a very current topic with applications for the Good Food Accelerator’s sixth cohort open until October 1, and GFA holding two related upcoming events for which tickets are now on sale: the Application Info Session and Happy Hour on Monday (September 16) at 1871 in the Merchandise Mart, and the 2nd Annual Taste of the GFA fundraiser and tasting event on Thursday, September 26 at Plante Moran (10 S. Riverside Plaza).

Jordan’s TeaSquares helps people fuel their passions through healthy, functional snacks, while its social mission is to fuel economic development in underserved neighborhoods. TeaSquares gives you the energy to help you reach your aspirations and potential – throughout each day, and in life.
