Better for You, Certified

Natural industry brands are better for people and better for the planet, and many of these brands proudly display this on their labels with certifications about product claims. But brands must decide which certifications resonate most with their brand (and need to avoid the “NASCAR effect,” a reference to racing cars that are plastered end to end with advertising decals).

Our Navigating the New Normal webinar on Thursday, June 18 (2:00-3:30 p.m.) is titled “Better for You, Certified,” and will provide great takeaways from experts on food product certifications. This program is jointly produced by Naturally Chicago and The Hatchery Chicago food business incubator.

Patti Doyle, CEO of Rumi Spice.

Also participating are Jim Slama, Naturally Chicago co-founder and CEO of FamilyFarmed and the Good Food Accelerator, and Natalie Shmulik, CEO of The Hatchery Chicago.
