Join us on Tuesday, November 2, 5 to 8 p.m. central, for Naturally Chicago’s celebration of Dia de los Muertos — Mexico’s Day of the Dead. This Members-Only event is our first live gathering since pre-pandemic.

This exciting event will take place at the Lakeview location of farm-to-table restaurant pioneer Uncommon Ground, 3800 N. Clark St. (a couple of blocks north of Wrigley Field).

[ Note: The party was moved to Lakeview from Uncommon Ground’s Edgewater location to make it more convenient for members to attend.]

If your Naturally Chicago membership is not up to date, or if you are a new member, you’ll find a simple explainer below on member and event registration. (Annual membership remains just $65 a year.)

But first, let’s whet your appetite for this exciting event.

Our food providers, whose ingredients will go into culturally appropriate creations, include Beyond Meat plant-based meat, Pre grass-fed beef, Kite Hill plant-based dairy alternatives, Cool Beans plant-based wraps, and This Little Goat Yucatan dip and spiced cookies (from the kitchens of Chef Stephanie Izard).

And we'll have Twisted Alchemy fresh juice margaritas and La Luna Mezcal teaming up for memorable, mouth-watering margaritas...including passion fruit margaritas... blood orange margaritas... three other citrus margaritas... and Persian lime margaritas... to toast our gathering together IRL! Salud!

We’ll even have an altar to pay respects to past loved ones (and beloved businesses) that we’re creating with the guidance of the National Museum of Mexican Art in the Pilsen community.
